Special High-quality Services

Since its founding in 2015, FootstepsPodiartyClinic  has been providing its patients with high quality foot health care.

Painfool Joints

Several types of arthritis can cause pain in your feet and ankles, including: Osteoarthritis, is the most common type. It is also called degenerative joint disease or age-related arthritis.

Symptoms of arthritis often include: tenderness when you touch the joint, pain when you move it, trouble moving, walking, or putting weight on it, joint stiffness, warmth, or swelling, more pain and swelling after you rest, such as sitting or sleeping.

Pregnancy

Foot problems due to pregnancy will likely get worse as the pregnancy progresses. With proper foot care, however, you may reduce or prevent foot pain during the pregnancy.

We can help you stay more comfortable during your pregnancy by explaining proper foot care and treating foot issues as soon as possible.

Babies Feet

Children’s feet are very flexible and not too sensitive so they often do not complain of areas of pressure or friction. It is important to check their feet regularly. Because of foot growth you should have the feet checked for size and fitting regularly.

You should contact us for advice if your child: can only walk short distances before complaining, tripping or seems clumsy, complains of aching legs.

Nail Disorders

Many disorders can affect the nails, including deformity and dystrophy, infections, and ingrown toenails. Infections can involve any part of the nail and may or may not change the nail’s appearance. Most nail infections are fungal, but bacterial and viral infections occur.

Some of the causes of nail disorders include the following: infections, injuries, internal diseases (such as certain lung diseases), nail fungus, structural problems, etc.

Diabetic Foot Care

All people with diabetes should have their feet checked at least once a year by a doctor or podiatrist. We are here to help you!

It is extremely important to detect problems early and to prevent ulcers and other complications. You may have heard that diabetes causes gangrene (dead, black tissue) amongst other issues.

Heel Pain

Common causes of heel pain include obesity, ill-fitting shoes, running and jumping on hard surfaces, abnormal walking style, injuries, etc. Plantar fasciitis is inflammation of the ligament that runs the length of the foot, commonly caused by overstretching. We are here to help you!

We also supply orthotics, which are tailor-made insoles, padding and arch supports to relieve arch or heel pain.

Verrucas

Warts and verrucas are small lumps on the skin that most people have at some point in their life. They usually go away on their own but may take months or even years.

Warts do not cause you any harm but some people find them itchy, painful or embarrassing. Verrucas are more likely to be painful – like standing on a needle. Let our specialists treat your warts if they bother you, keep coming back or are painful.

General Foot Pain

Injury or conditions causing inflammation involving any of the bones, ligaments or tendons in the foot can cause foot pain. We are medical professionals that treat and maintain the health of your feet.

We can treat any minor issue such as heel pain, ingrown toenails, as well as more serious ones including sprains, infections or fractures.

Sport Related Issues

Sports injuries can be caused by: an accident such as a fall or heavy blow ,not warming up properly before exercising, using inappropriate equipment or poor technique, pushing yourself too hard.

Sport related issues can affect any part of the body including your muscles, bones, joints and connective tissues (tendons and ligaments). The ankles and knees are particularly prone to injury.
